About the Hike

Hike Description

Contact leader via email for reservation. Limit of 10 hikers. This shorter version of hike 349 will cover a section of the MST that should include both late summer wildflowers + early fall colors. There are several rock-hop stream crossings before our lunch stop at a scenic boulder-surrounded stream. We will return via the same route.

Scout Report

Two friends and I walked this trail today. At my pace on this rocky, rooty trail and stopping to enjoy and photograph late bloomers like turtle heads and gentians, plus a leisurely 1/2-hour lunch at a serene spot, we spent 3 1/2 hours on the trail. My friends had not done this hike and thought it was lovely, especially the 6 scenic water crossings.
