About the Hike

Hike Description

Contact leader by email for reservation. Hike along the beautiful Laurel River near Hot Springs, with whitewater, big rocks and surrounding high cliffs, to the French Broad River. Interesting flora, as over 250 species of vascular plants have been identified along this trail. Not much elevation change but parts of the trail are rocky and have poison ivy ? hiking boots/shoes and long pants are recommended. Return via the same trail. This hike is 43 of the 100 Favorite Trails.Topos: Hot Springs
