About the Hike

Hike Description

Contact leader via email for reservation. Limit of 10 hikers. Fall colors should be at peak on this hike in a mostly deciduous tree section of the MST. We will climb Ferrin Knob and have lunch at the ruins of the old fire tower. From there, it is mostly downhill for a descent of 1245 ft., sometimes steeply but mostly gentle ups and downs. We?ll also have a leader-supplied snack break at some interesting boulders. Count on ~ 3 hours for this hike. Car shuttle.Topos: Dunsmore Mt
