No registration required. Contact hike leader via email or text if you have any questions. This is a pleasant hike through the woods of the Bent Creek area. No steep hills and good trail conditions. We will do a loop in the Rice Pinnacle area, including Corvair, Neighborhood, Ledford and Wolf Branch Trails.

Scout Report

This is a pleasant walk through the forest where we need to keep an eye out for mountain bikes. I measured 4.4 miles and 400' elevation gain. The trail is very rooty in places but is a good choice for a shorter hike or perhaps leisure hikers who want to try a slightly longer hike. Parking at Rice Pinnacle fills early, so carpooling is recommended. Corvair Trail and Neighborhood Trail are not shown on my paper map but clearly are heavily used. Lynn and Krum scouted with me on a beautiful dry fall day.
