About the Hike

Hike Description

Contact the leader by email for reservation. This hike will start at the Frozen Creek Rd. parking lot in Gorges State Park and go down the Canebrake Trail to the pedestrian bridge on the Foothills Trail. We will have a scenic view of the lake while having lunch on the rocks where the Toxaway River enters Lake Jocassee. Return via the same route. The trail is an old logging road. Our hike back will have a steady but moderate incline. Topos: Reid
