About the Hike

Hike Description

Contact the leaders for reservation. This modification of CMC hike 1015 will cover a section of the Fonta Flora, a State Trail near Old Fort, and traverse part of Camp Grier. We'll start uphill from the trailhead to the Copper Ridge Trail, then head east to its intersection with the Camp Grier Trail. From there, we'll hike down the tree-lined switchback trail to the riverside picnic area for lunch along Garrett Creek. After lunch, we will return to our cars at the trailhead on the Copper Ridge Trail. This is hunting season; please wear orange.
