Please note:
- All challenge miles must be completed on foot. Travel by bicycle, horse, or other forms of transportation does not qualify.
- Always plan ahead and know your limitations. Review your route and the weather forecast, and carry clothing and equipment appropriate for the terrain and conditions. In addition to trail apps, carry a map and compass and know how to use it. Cell service can be unreliable in the mountains.
- Carry enough water and food for the duration of your hike. Tell a responsible person where you are going and when you expect to return.
- Before your trip, check with the appropriate land management agency for current trail conditions, closures, and restrictions.
