Each fall, Carolina Mountain Club recognizes the volunteers who care for our trails with the annual Trail Maintainers Picnic. This gathering is an opportunity to celebrate another year of stewardship, share stories from the trail, recognize outstanding volunteer contributions, and enjoy good food with friends who share a commitment to preserving our region’s hiking trails. Whether you maintain a section of trail, lead a crew, serve as a sawyer, or support trail maintenance in another way, we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate the people whose dedication keeps our trails open, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
